The firm holds RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) registrations in the following states:

Empanelment & Institutional Relationships
magickeys is empaneled with:
- State Bank of India (SBI) for distressed asset advisory
- HDFC Bank for commercial real estate valuation and transaction advisory
- National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for land acquisition support services
The firm does not hold IBBI (Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India) registration as we do not act as resolution professionals. We may coordinate with licensed insolvency practitioners where mandates require.
Code of Conduct
magickeys practitioners adhere to the following principles:
- We represent one party per transaction, never both sides simultaneously
- We disclose any prior relationship with counterparties to the mandating client
- We do not accept undisclosed consideration from any party to a transaction
- We maintain confidentiality of client mandates and do not use mandate information for proprietary benefit
- We do not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice; we coordinate with licensed professionals where such input is required
Conflict of Interest Policy
Before accepting a mandate, we conduct a conflict check against existing and recently concluded engagements. We decline mandates where:
- We currently represent the counterparty in a related transaction
- We have a financial interest in the asset or the counterparty entity
- A partner or senior practitioner has a personal relationship that could compromise independence
Where a potential conflict exists but can be managed through disclosure and client consent, we provide written disclosure and obtain explicit waiver before proceeding.
Data Handling & Client Confidentiality
Client mandates and transaction details are treated as confidential. We do not publicly list client assets, share mandate details with third parties without consent, or use client data for marketing purposes.
Data handling is governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Client data is stored on Indian servers, access is limited to practitioners working on the mandate, and data is purged within six months of transaction closure unless retention is required for regulatory compliance.
Members’ portal data (mandates, opportunities, deal room documents) is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access logs are maintained and available for client review upon request.
