The Firm
Philosophy
Magickeys was founded on the belief that institutional real estate is judgment work, not volume work. The transactions that matter — school land acquisitions, Grade A warehouse leases, family office asset structuring — are not suited to portal aggregation or mass-market brokerage.
We represent parties in specific transactions. This means we take on mandates from buyers, tenants, sellers, and landlords, and we work exclusively on their behalf. We do not list assets publicly. We do not operate as a marketplace. We do not chase transaction volume.
Discretion is a feature, not a constraint. Many of the assets we handle are held by family offices, institutional boards, or corporate balance sheets where public listing would signal distress, invite speculative interest, or compromise negotiating position. Our role is to identify counterparties through our network, structure introductions appropriately, and guide both sides to execution.
The practitioners at magickeys have worked at CBRE, JLL, Knight Frank, and Cushman & Wakefield. We left those platforms not out of dissatisfaction, but out of conviction that a different model was needed — one where senior practitioners take on fewer mandates, spend more time on each, and are compensated for judgment rather than throughput.
We do not claim to be the largest brokerage, the fastest-growing platform, or the most aggressive marketer. We are a specialist firm for clients who value representation quality, transaction discretion, and sector-specific expertise. If that describes your need, we would be pleased to discuss a mandate.
